The NEA

In addition to the taught component students must also complete a Non Examined Assessment  (NEA) piece of coursework on an issue of their choice, which is worth 20% of the qualification.  An outline of the timetable for completing this is provided below:

Letters are given out with notice of appeal End Mach Yr 13 Appeals will be carried out either by an experienced member of the department who has not been involved in the marking of the NEAs or by another HOD from another school.  Please be aware that under appeal grades can go up or down.
