A Level students celebrate fantastic results
After a long wait over the summer, Year 13s finally have those all-important pieces of paper in their hands and can now focus on their next steps.
The average A Level grade is C+ and the vocational Btecs average Merit. These results reflect the students’ range of talents, focus and commitment to their studies.
Headteacher Tony Rushworth, said: “Congratulations to all our Year 13 students for the excellent results achieved, despite the numerous covid disruptions to their learning in 2020 and 2021. The students have worked so hard throughout this time, supported by their strongly committed teachers and superb Sixth form team. Best wishes to them in their next step.”

- Phoebe Salter: A*, A, A in Art in Philosophy and Ethics, English Language and Literature, going to study Fine Art at Norwich.
- Iulia Popa: A*, A, A, in Biology, Geography, Chemistry, going to study Pharmacy at Reading.
- Matias Pinho: A*,A* A, in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, going to study Pre-Med in France at University of Clermont.
- Jack Pickwell, A*, A*, A, A (AS) in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, History, going to study Physics at Warwick.
- Luca Fabri: A*, A, A in Biology, Maths, Chemistry, going to study Biology at Nottingham.
- Elizabeth Bradley: A*, A, B in History, Biology, English Literature, going to study History at UCL.
- Kiki Blaychie-Bourou: C, Distinction *, Distinction in Psychology, Applied Science and Health and Social Care going to study Pharmacy at Kingston.
We also have students going to apprenticeship positions at companies including:
- Maintenance Technician at Mini plant BMW
- Quantity Surveyor at Laing O’Rourke
- CNC Machine at Salesmade.
We are enormously proud of all our Year 13s who have worked incredibly hard. All the work they have done in the Sixth Form here will ensure that they are ready for studying at university or apprenticeship level or going into employment this autumn. We wish them every success.
