I have a BA Hons in Performing Arts from Bath Spa University where I enjoyed exploring  a range of different styles of Drama. I performed in several university productions as well as traking on the ‘Create a play in 24 hour challenge’ and  becoming an extra in an American documentary. In  my spare time I like to go and see a diverse range of theatre from Shakespeare to Frantic Assembly and The Paperbirds. I also enjoy going to see comedians.


Matthew Crook
Teacher of Music

Matt is a drummer and a trumpet player and studied music performance at Southamton Solent University. Before working at the Biecester School Mr Crook was a live sound engineer and in house sound technician for Pegasus Theatre and Stowe School. Outside of school, Mr Crook words free lance musician running his own function band and also performing with The Miles Nottage Rhythm and Blues band. Inside of school Mr Crook runs choir on a Thursday lunch time and school band who meet on a Tuesday lunchtime.


Jackie Tansley
Teacher of Music

Jackie graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BMus hons degree.  She then moved to Leeds where she did a PGCE in music teaching.  She spends every summer holiday in the South West of France and she enjoys learning the language with a French teacher in her spare time.  Jackie loves going to concerts and gigs.
