“The headteacher has insisted on high standards since his appointment. He has inspired the trust and confidence of leaders, governors and parents with his strongly held view of an excellent education for all.”
We are delighted to announce that in a very challenging educational climate, with significantly increased levels of accountability and expectations on UK schools, The Bicester School has been graded as ‘Good’ in its latest Ofsted inspection of 5th and 6th June 2018.
In summary, Ofsted now make six main judgements. Their findings were:
|Effectiveness of leadership and management||Good|
|Quality of teaching, learning and assessment||Good|
|Personal development, behaviour and welfare||Good|
|Outcomes for pupils||Good|
|16 to 19 study programmes||Requires improvement|
