The Practical aspect is assessed over three sports. This has to be a mix of individual and team sports as a player or performer. Students will need to be involved in at least one community sports club and attend extra-curricular clubs to improve their practical performance. The Practical assessment is 40% of the total marks.

Students will be advised by their teacher of the most appropriate course of study, whether that be GCSE or BTEC Sport.
