Sixth Form Open event success

Last night marked the final Bicester School Open Evening of the calendar year, receiving an excellent turn out for the Sixth Form Open Event.

Prospective students and their families had the opportunity to tour the Sixth Form area, which was set up with designated stalls where they could speak to students and teachers about studying particular subjects. As well as department stalls, there was also a charity cake sale and music from the Sixth Form band playing in the common room, giving a wonderful atmosphere to the evening.

A talk was then given by the Head of Sixth Form, Jonny Tridgell, and the Head of Year 12, Gareth Ladd, discussing what the Sixth Form has to offer students and what will be expected of them when joining The Bicester School. Current students Louis O’Connell, Elliot Hale, Alana Honey and Stacie Plast also talked about their experiences at the Sixth Form.

Thank you to all who came along and made the event such a success.
