Soul of a Nation: Art in the age of black power

Advance notice for A-level and GCSE History students. History 1

Coming to the Tate Modern, London in July 2017 is a chance to see a number of art works linked to the Civil Rights Movement, many on display for the first time in the UK.

The art works span the time period of 1963-83 and will offer students the chance to see how the cultural and political scene of the time affected the work produced. This exhibition is a great way to bring our A-level and GCSE studies to life.

Dates: 12 July – 22 October 2017
