Where pupils choose to wear wrist watches, these must not have social media, texting or telephone calls or receiving capabilities. No facial jewellery, including nose, tongue or eyebrow piercings are permitted, as these represent a health and safety risk in school when mixing with other students at social times and in PE and other practical subjects such as drama. Ear piercings and watches must be removed before pupils participate in PE lessons or sports events.

Extreme hairstyles are not permitted. Students may wear discreet make-up suitable for the professional workplace; this does not include fake eyelashes of excessive length. No coloured nail varnish is permitted or fake nails and nails of excessive length.
