KS4 DRAMA

At KS4 students follow the AQA GCSE specification in Drama. The course covers learning the set text of The Crucible and the ability to describe and analyse your own performance decisions as an actor. There is also a live theatre section of the exam where students describe, analyse and evaluate a professional piece of theatre.

Students also study a script and perform two scenes in a practical exam and devise their own original work and detail that journey in a logbook.

Students develop essay writing skills, ability to evaluate others, understanding of how to perform on stage and use professional theatrical methods to create original productions.
