A LEVEL ECONOMICS
At Key Stage 5, students follow the Edexcel Economics A specification, exploring a broad range of both microeconomic and macroeconomic topics.
The course is structured around four themes: Themes 1 and 3 focus on microeconomics, while Themes 2 and 4 cover macroeconomics. The course develops analytical and evaluative skills through the application of economic theories to real-world issues.
The qualification is assessed at the end of Year 13 through three externally examined papers, each lasting two hours.
