Pride Month celebrated with Colour Run
The Bicester School community came together in a joyful explosion of colour, unity and pride to celebrate its annual Pride Colour Run 2025.
With glorious sunshine and even brighter spirits marked Friday 20 June, when students and staff gathered on the field for a vibrant event of fun and inclusivity.
Organised with incredible energy by Mrs Withers, Miss Masterson and our inspiring team of the Ambassadors of Change, the event was a powerful celebration of diversity and acceptance. The Colour Run saw participants sprint, dance and laugh their way through clouds of coloured powder, each step a joyful symbol of support for the LGBTQ+ community.
The event featured stunning displays of school spirit, with students donning white outfits that quickly transformed into walking rainbows. The Progress Pride flag flew proudly throughout the festivities, with everyone joining in to celebrate love, identity and community in all its beautiful forms.
The turnout was fantastic, and the sense of togetherness even more so. Whether you ran, cheered or helped behind the scenes, your involvement made this event a true highlight of the school year and a memory that will last a lifetime.
