A Bright Future Ahead: The Bicester School Celebrates Sixth Form Success

We’re proud to share some fantastic news from The Bicester School – our Year 13 students are celebrating another year of impressive A Level and Level 3 BTEC results!

This year’s results reflect the hard work and determination of students and staff alike, with an impressive 39% of A Level students achieving grades A* to B  and 88% of BTEC grades were Distinction Star to Merit!

On results day, the atmosphere in school was filled with joy, relief, and excitement as students opened their results surrounded by friends, family, and staff.

These results are a reflection of the dedication and hard work of our students, the commitment of our teaching staff, and the support of our wider school community, including parents and carers. This year, the average A Level grade was a C, and students on vocational courses achieved an average of Merit Plus – a strong performance across the board.

Headteacher Sam Knowlton said: “Today, we celebrate not just the grades our students have achieved, but the journey they have taken to get here. At The Bicester School, we believe that exam results are only one chapter in the rich and diverse stories of our young people’s lives.

This year’s results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering support of parents and carers.

We are proud of the resilience, determination, and professionalism they have shown. These results reflect not just academic effort, but personal growth, challenges overcome and ambitions realised.

Grades may open doors, however, whatever path they choose, they carry with them the skills, values, and experiences that will shape their futures.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 your future is bright.”
